Getting the best from miMove: by role

This short guide outlines how different people in your school can get the most from miMove. From SLT to teachers and support staff - who does what and how everyone benefits.

 

Every school is different. Having worked with hundreds of schools, the suggestions below capture what works best. It is not prescriptive but merely guidance.
  • Senior leaders

    • Oversee student usage
    • Use miMove data to help review targets
    • Analyse reports
      • Which students are not benefitting from our programmes?
      • Are we effectively using resources to achieve our aims?
      • Are we using resources equitably?
    • Celebrate success
      • In assemblies
      • In newsletters and communications to parents, governors and other stakeholders
      • Via social media (where applicable)

  • Pastoral and safeguarding leads 

    • Celebrate student success using our inclusive certificates.
    • Check for safeguarding concerns 
      • Changes in participation rates either sharply up or dropping off - use Mo, AI copilot
      • Scan comments in Reflections that might be calls for help - use export function
      • Use miMove data alongside other data sets - attendance, attainment/grades, teacher observations, behaviour etc
      • Acknowledge out of school participation and share with relevant staff
  • Enrichment/extra curricular leads

    • Celebrate all forms of activity and students' commitment to their enrichment activities
    • Monitor participation and engagement with half-termly reviews to ensure inclusion
    • Monitor quality of student experiences
    • Set and review targets
    • Build campaigns and challenges
  • IT Coordinator

    • Liaise with miMove to ensure (where applicable)
