- Community and environment
- IT
- Thinking activities
- Visits & Residentials
Why?
- To help young people develop their interests.
- To give schools easy access to student engagement so they can make informed decisions, celebrate all the activities students do both in and out of school.
- To help schools monitor their complete extra-curricular provision and ensure equity and inclusion.
Students will love our new badges. Based on martial arts belts, students will unlock their white through to black belts as they reach milestones.
The badges celebrate and reward a range of behaviours from regular participation to regular reflection to trying new activities.
And, teachers will be able to see each students’ badge profile either via each students activity page OR simply ask our new AI co-pilot a badge related query and get the answer in seconds.
Badges and points are a brilliant way to create and support a vibrant school culture that sees and celebrates every students’ commitment to their personal development journey.
Mo is a game changer!
Have a query about your students’ activities – ask Mo.
Want to see trends or data for inclusion or wellbeing ask Mo.
Evidence the impact of a new initiative – ask Mo.
Want to see which students are active and which are not, who is active out of school, see and compare activity rates by gender, SEND, ethnicity etc – ask Mo
In fact, we’ve tested Mo with dozens of queries. Mo is clever.
Mo will save you a LOT of time. One senior leader responsible for personal development estimated a saving of 6 hours a week.
Don’t worry though, if you particularly enjoy exporting and analysing spreadsheets, you’ve still got that option!
Impact on wellbeing
By focusing on all the activities that a young person might do away from the classroom, school leaders can ensure that all young people feel a sense of belonging and find their passion; 2 factors that contribute to a sense of wellbeing. This allows schools to help students be well and stay well. The AI co-pilot on the dashboard will be able to respond immediately to queries. By asking questions about changes in participation or emotional response, miMove can be used to flag potential concerns early.
Whole school integration
These changes also allow schools to adopt a ‘whole school’ approach to integrating miMove into the school week with many schools allocating 5 minutes a week in pastoral time for students to record their activities. The AI can quickly report on the in-app points and badges can easily feed into the wider school reward systems.
