Haringey Active Schools

Welcome to the website for the Haringey Active Schools Pilot Programme supported by Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Haringey Sport Development. The project's aims are:

• For Haringey Schools to be the most active in London.
• To celebrate the efforts of teachers, parents/carers and children in building active school communities.
• To support every child developing a positive relationship with physical activity.

The pilot schools are:

St Mary's Cof E 
Bruce Grove 
Lea Valley
Devonshire Hill 

Each half term will use a different metric to monitor success. and ensure inclusion. This half term the theme is Average Activity Time per Pupil. Tottenham Hotspur have kindly offered a prize for the school at the top of the leaderboard at the end of each half term.

The data will also be used for Haringey Sport Development to identify children taking part in a range of sports. They will then be invited to try out for the Haringey team that goes to the London Youth Games.
